Shut Out Hunger!
The 6th Annual Jump in the Lake Challenge on Saturday May 3rd will see participants jumping into frigid lake waters - rain (snow, hail, sleet) or shine. This year, the funds raised will again go towards fighting hunger in our communities.
Are you brave enough to take the plunge?
Donate or take on the challenge today!
Don your favourite sports jersey and jump in! Donations are going to the Coboconk & Area Food Bank. The CAFB supports the communities of Coboconk, Norland, Kirkfield and surrounding areas.
At a time when food prices are at an all-time high, food insecurity is also at an all-time high in our community. This year has been the busiest ever for CAFB. With the increase in food prices, and the increase in people needing CAFB support, our food costs are the highest they have ever been. We are 100% volunteer operated so money donated goes mainly to food and supplies. We appreciate your much needed support. Thank you.
Thank you to Dean Michel & Jennifer Bacon for creating this fun campaign to raise funds and awareness for our community charity.
Since its inception in 2020, well over 100 participants and generous donors in the Jump in the Lake Challenge have raised over $175,000 for our local community. This year’s goal is $20,000.
