Welcome to my personal page for the 5th Annual Daniels KBH Triathlon for Neuroendocrine Cancer Research! The event will be taking place on Saturday, August 13, with the same format as last year:
8 km KAYAK | 40 km BIKE | 8 km HIKE
Once considered rare, neuroendocrine tumours (NETs) are now the fastest growing class of cancers worldwide, accounting for approximately 2% of all cancers, but they are still underdiagnosed due to lack of widespread awareness in the medical community.
There is still a need for research to learn more about this low-profile disease and to improve treatment options. Working with CNETS Canada, we have done amazing things together before, funding four separate research grants. Let’s do it again!
