Jamie Bramburger was a dedicated community leader whose passion for Pembroke touched countless lives. From education and broadcasting to economic development and philanthropy, he worked tirelessly to make a difference. A lifelong hockey fan and the voice of the Pembroke Lumber Kings, Jamie had a deep love for the Pembroke Memorial Centre (PMC), a place that brought the community together.

Jamie also captured the history and spirit of the PMC in his book, Go Kings Go, sharing endless stories from within its walls. His love for the arena and its role in our community was unwavering.

In honour of his legacy, Jamie’s family has requested donations be made to support the PMC. Home to the Pembroke Lumber Kings, minor hockey, recreational hockey for all ages, figure skating, public skating, and community events, the PMC is a vital gathering place for our city. Contributions will help maintain and enhance this cherished facility, ensuring it continues to serve future generations—just as Jamie would have wanted.
