The Chemical Education Fund  (CEF) was established by the Chemical Institute of Canada  to provide funds to support education in the fields of chemistry, chemical engineering, and chemical technology. The CEF aims to

 ·advance education in these fields by supporting public outreach, professional development for students and educators, and new educational activities and materials;

 ·encourage excellence and nurture future leaders in these fields by funding scholarships, prizes, and grants for students and educators; and

 ·lower barriers to education in these fields by offering scholarships to students with financial need, supporting outreach to underserved communities, and encouraging initiatives that foster equity, diversity, and inclusion.
