Our mission
We are the Anglican Communion in eastern and central Quebec, called to shine with Christ’s light in acts of praise and reconciling love, to be bearers of the Good News, ministers of God’s grace, and faithful stewards of God’s Church and Kingdom.
About us
Covering an area of approximately 720,000 square kilometres, the Anglican Diocese of Quebec is larger in size than France or Afghanistan. The diocesan boundaries stretch from the Magdalen Islands in the east, to Kawawachikamach in the north, and to the Eastern Townships in the south. Anglicans gather to worship in about 60 congregations across this vast area.
Largely through the proceeds of its investments, the Church Society provides substantial financial support to the life and work of the Anglican Diocese of Quebec, including the ministry of the bishop and the administration of the diocese. The Church Society is also entrusted with the stewardship of several parish and cemetery endowments.
