About Chilliwack Arts & Cultural Centre Society
The Centre is home for the Arts and Culture in Chilliwack! The two theatres, HUB International Theatre and Rotary Hall Studio Theatre, host a well-weighted mix of local, national and international performances drawing audiences not only from the City of Chilliwack, but from across the province and across the country. Also within this 65,000 square-foot building is the stunning O'Connor Group Art Gallery, 16 music and choral studios, three art and craft studios and three performance studios for creativity to flourish! Operating and programming this space is the Chilliwack Arts & Cultural Centre Society’s, a not-for-profit, registered BC charity, responsibility.
A considerable endeavor over the last number of years has been fundraising for The Centre, to provide capital enhancements that could not be covered in the initial phases of budgeting. These efforts have focused on taking The Centre to the next level so that it can ‘perform’ to its fullest capability. This includes our Angel Fund a subsidy system that allows us to provide art experiences to deserving children who would otherwise not be able to afford them. Angel Fund monies are provided through donations. Additional needs include the purchase for art supplies for our always growing arts & crafts programs.
