For the past 20 years, Children's Peace Theatre has run a three-week Peace Camp where professional artists work with children and youth in training in a collaborative process to create an original production based on explorations of relevant social issues and the children's visions of peace.

Each year the work poses questions for the children to explore, and invites them to examine and question the world they live in, a world that often celebrates acts of violence, yet at the same time produces acts of heart stopping courage, kindness and humility. 

This unique program produces some of the best summer theatre Toronto has to offer engaging audiences in riveting site specific works that never fail to challenge and move.
