My names Julianna, I'm 16 years old and in grade 11 at KCS. This year I have the privilege of going to India with Kelowna Christian School and I am so excited to meet all the incredible staff and children who live there. I’ve heard so many stories about them through my sister who went a few years ago and I can’t wait to see the home and everyone for myself. We live in such a privileged space, not really realizing what we have, where we have extra food to throw out, extra clothes we don’t want and so much more. Where in India in these homes they have next to nothing, but still are so grateful for every grain of rice and everything else we take for granted. That’s why it’s so important to donate and give back to the world, whether that’s donating here on this page, giving clothes that you don’t want to the home, or running with me and the rest of the India team in the SunRype run/walk on October 19/20!
