In 1989 a Children’s Home, now supported by Child of Mine, was established on the grounds of a remote and abandoned leprosy hospital in Northern India. Over the years many of the buildings have been improved and most of the cow dung and mud plaster walls have been repaired. That said, the boys are still living in the original 100 year old buildings and providing them with a new dorm has been a dream the staff and children have held for many years. We are excited to announce that through the tremendous support of partners like you, this project is now underway!
I will be running the half marathon at the Vancouver BMO Marathon in May to help raise funds for this Child of Mine project. My personal goal is to raise $1000 for this home.
