Hi Everyone!
My name is Monet, and I am the Facility Dog at the Child Witness Centre (CWC). I am the first accredited Facility Dog to work in the Criminal Justice System in the Region of Waterloo, making my role extremely important! My role is to work alongside CWC caseworkers, supporting children and youth who are victims or witnesses of crime.
Through this NEW fundraiser, I am challenging myself to dedicate 1000 minutes of my time to attending community events where I can help spread awareness of the vital role Facility Dogs play in supporting clients through the Criminal Justice System, and how the services we offer bring hope and brighter futures to our young clients. Additionally, I am challenging my community members to help me reach my fundraising goal of $10,000! When you donate to my page, your name will be written down on a paw print, which will be displayed at CWC. I hope to get over 1,000 paw prints to fill the wall up!
