Our Mission

Most of Ontario's children have no idea there is a God who loves them so much He sent His Son to die for them.  They have little or no understanding of who Jesus is.  At CEFOntario our mission is to share the Gospel of the Lord Jesus with boys and girls, and to establish (disciple) them in the word of God and the local church.

About CHILD EVANGELISM FELLOWSHIP OF ONTARIO

We are concerned about more than 2 million Ontario children who don't attend church - who are growing up with no real Christian influence.  Sharing the love of Jesus with those children is our priority.  We do that throughout the year in weekly club programs (Good News Clubs), as well as in monthly clubs designed especially for Ontario's at risk children (Slingshot Saturday).   

We share Jesus during the summer months, when we send teams of trained young people across Ontario to conduct week-long VBS programs or backyard clubs known as "5 Day Clubs".  We also conduct a full summer of camping programs, called Camp Good News (CGN).  CEFOntario camps are mostly for the children who attend Slingshot Saturday, as well as other children who would be identiied as at risk.

Ontario's child population is very diverse.  Children come from a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds.  They come in many shades of colour.  In their homes there are many languages spoken, and a variety of different faiths are represented.  We want to minister to all of these children.  That is our mission.

CEFOntario is an interdenominational ministry that has faithfully shared with Ontario's children for more than 70 years.  We are a proud affiliate of CEF International, a world wide organization with active ministry to children in 188 countries.
