Future Conservationists Namibian youth benefits greatly from field education provided by Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) at their Lightfoot camp situated in Otjiwarongo, Namibia. CCF host Namibian school groups, environmental and conservation clubs at their Lightfoot camp. Groups usually spend three days and two nights at CCF’s Centre. All participants are exposed to CCF’s research and conservation efforts, making the link with the Namibian farmland ecosystem. Children also participate in nature trails and game drives through CCF’s Little Serengeti. Team-building activities highlight the importance of team efforts in conservation. Role-play and drama include scenarios of livestock and predator management.
It costs $35 per students to participate in this weekend workshop. On #GivingTuesdayCanada please support a student so they can benefit from this unique education program. We would like to support two groups of 30 students to attend CCF weekend education programs.
