You told us in our Vital Signs outreach that Action on Poverty is important and now you can help us do something about it!

Poverty has many dimensions including unemployment, social exclusion, food insecurity, inadequate housing, access to education and a wide assortment of wellness issues. Raising individuals and families out of poverty requires time and collaborative efforts. Most often, an individual working to raise themselves out of poverty will be attempting to resolve multiple causes of their poverty for which the solutions have differing timelines.

The Community Foundation for Lennox & Addington has created this permanent endowment fund in order to create sustainable funding in perpetuity for charitable groups that work to reduce the impact of poverty in the region of Lennox and Addington.

Please help us to reduce the impact of poverty today, tomorrow and forever. In fact when you donate this fund, you will be providing funding to charitable poverty reduction projects in our community every year in perpetuity.

The No Povertyn 180° Fund Campaign is one of our three 180° Campaigns in which we aim to reverse troubling trends in: the Environment, Poverty, and Health and Well-Being. We are asking supporters of our 180° Campaigns to donate $180.00, on a timetable that fits their passion and budget. Pledges through this form can be made one-time or monthly. Of course donations of any size are welcome and meaningful because when you give a little, the community gains a lot!
