Cerebral Palsy Kids and Families provides understanding, support, and resources to families raising a child with a physical disability.  As we continue to see the stress in the families who we support, we are here to assist them.  We get numerous referrals from Alberta Children’s Hospital Neuromotor Clinic and Alberta Health services to offer additional support for individuals.  We also support a large population of New Canadians, who are also facing unsurmountable challenges.

Our programs and services are crucial, as we are supporting the most vulnerable – our children.  Cerebral Palsy Kids & Families programs include family and mental health support, resources for new Canadians raising a child with a neuromotor disability, equipment loan program and crisis funding.  We are in need of operational dollars to support our adapted bike program, baby group and summer camps when we are able to regroup.  All of the funds received will go to supporting kids and their families living with cerebral palsy or a similar neuromotor disability with unexpected costs, medical equipment, counselling and mental health support.

Cerebral Palsy Kids and Families has been sharing knowledge and hope to families living with cerebral palsy and similar neuromotor disabilities in the Calgary area since 1951. 

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support, resources, and opportunities in order to light up the lives of children and families in the community.

We offer a range of programs and events that create a positive and consistent support system for families, along with providing opportunities for kids to experience the simple joys of being a kid.

As a community-based agency, we aim to be a safe haven for anyone living with cerebral palsy to reach out for support. Whether you have questions about funding, need an adapted bike for your child, or are just looking to chat about your situation, we are here to help.
