About CENTRES FOR SENIORS WINDSOR (o/a Life After Fifty)
Life After Fifty offers a wide array of social, educational and active living programs for adults 50 years and older. We support 900+ members through Creative Arts (e.g. sewing, ceramics, quilting, and scrapbooking) Recreation (e.g. Pickleball, LAF Fitness, Yoga, and Wii Bowling), plus Social Activities (euchre, bridge, pepper, billiards, etc.). Lapidary, Silversmithing and Woodworking are at the West Side Centre. Our cafe offers high quality low cost lunches and snacks. Our Community Support Services services are available to all, featuring Friendly Visiting, Telephone Reassurance, Basic Home Maintenance and Footcare, serving more than 1,200 clients.
We offer two active living centres for one membership: West Side Centre - 635 McEwan (Campbell Ave. and Wyandotte St W.) East Side Centre - At the WFCU Centre (McHugh St. and Lauzon Rd.)
We strive to make a positive impact for the well-being of seniors by reducing isolation, offering good nutrition, and providing activities to improve cognitive and physical health.
