The CASM is a fundamental and innovative resource centre that supports women living with HIV (FVVIH) and their families. These women are faced with problematic situations: difficulties in accessing stable employment, complex administrative and immigration procedures, precarious financial situations leading to difficulties in eating well. We know that one of the most important pillars to ensure the well-being of women and their families is economic stability. Beyond covering their basic needs, this stability plays an important role in the development of their self-confidence, sense of achievement and self-assertion. These aspects are fundamental for the healthy development of any individual and for their full integration into society. Faced with these various factors of vulnerability, whether individual, socio-cultural or structural, women living with HIV tend to isolate themselves and not dare to ask for help. This support work carried out by CASM is essential to ensure social inclusion and empowerment of women for women. In parallel to its mission of helping people living with HIV, the CASM is developing a project for the prevention and promotion of sexual health among young people at school. Access to information and protective materials must be increased to help limit the incidence of STIs in the population.
