With no answers to new symptoms and setbacks from my Congenital Heart Disease I was sent to COACH in the mean time to be assessed, then attend twice a week to exercise while being monitored. What was supposed to be 4-6 weeks ended up being 9 months. They supported me the whole way as well as funded my program as I am on long term disability from the still undiagnosed heart issues I experience daily. I am now in the the KCES exercise program to maintain my exercise abilities. I have met MANY people who have benefited from this support & program and have been able to move forward in life knowing it is safe to stay active and fit after a serious heart event.
Please support my fundraising efforts for the C.O.A.C.H. Cardiac Rehab and K.C.E.S. programs in Kelowna, BC. These fabulous non profit programs help get those who have experienced a heart event back on their feet. The staff are amazing and so knowledgeable. I appreciate anything you can give.
I will be doing the Walk of Life with others who attend the program to raise funds for people who need heart health support like myself.
