About Central Alberta Humane Society #cahumane

The Central Alberta Humane Society (CA Humane) is an adoption center dedicated to the medical care and re-homing of unwanted, abandoned and stray companion animals.

More than 90% of our funding comes from kind-hearted donations and our own revenue-generating activities. Through the generosity of our community, we are able to house, feed and care for over 600 unwanted and homeless animals in Central Alberta each year. Every gift helps us to continue to provide life-saving care and deliver important community education and outreach programs.

The Central Alberta Humane Society (CA Humane) has relied almost exclusively on support from the community for more than thirty years to provide life changing programs and services to Central Alberta. It is our mission to care for abandoned and abused companion animals, offer humane education opportunities to both children and adults alike and assist the most vulnerable members of our community through meaningful outreach therapy programs.
