Designated in 2013 The Official Celtic Music Centre of Nova Scotia, the Celtic Music Centre (CMIC) is a unique entertainment and educational facility located in the village of Judique, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. As a non-profit, the CMIC's mission is to celebrate and promote the Celtic Music and Heritage of Cape Breton Island as a living tradition through Archival Preservation, Education, and Performance.

CMIC's beautiful building and grounds include a dine-in restaurant and takeout, a live music stage, exhibition galleries and learning spaces, recording studios, archival storage, event space, and a gift shop. The space and staff invite guests to participate in various cultural activities and authentic learning experiences. The atmosphere fosters friendships, inspires knowledge exchange, and plays an important role in building a vibrant local community and ensuring a lasting legacy. 

Support our Ongoing Mission: As a non-profit, non-governmental organization, the CMIC relies on donors' generosity for 90% of its annual operating budget. These funds assure the continuation of Celtic music history, traditions, and culture. You can support the CMIC's daily operations with a one-time donation, or by becoming a monthly donor for as little as $10 a month. 

Support our Growth: In 2025 and beyond the CMIC aims to be the top global destination for an authentic Celtic experience. This transformative project will ensure the sustainability of our beloved centre and the treasures it holds.
