About Us

Catholic Kids Net Inc., a not-for-profit, registered charity, which exists to develop, promote and facilitate Catholic formation programs for youth. Our camps and retreats provide high-quality, engaging programs designed to form and strengthen youth as they discern their vocation and grow in their relationship with Christ. Catholic Kids Net, Inc. Arcātheos and Captivenia are 100% volunteer-driven.

Formation Approach

The foundation of our programs is formation of the whole person: spiritual, human, apostolic and intellectual. Our focus is on building character in young leaders of tomorrow. Virtue formation, teamwork, public speaking, service and sports are pillars of our programs. Mentoring leaders selected for their academic, moral and spiritual leadership, guide boys and girls toward these goals. All this takes place in the context of a medieval theme, following a theatrical plot that draws boys and girls into a mythical realm beyond our world.  

Financial Needs

Registration fees cover approximately 55-60% of the actual cost of attending camp. In addition, we have ongoing annual administrative, accounting, legal & liability costs related to operating as a registered charity and not-for-profit. Support from generous individuals, businesses, parish groups and other organizations ensures that we can keep our registration fees as low as possible without sacrificing the attention to detail which makes our programs legendary.

Arcātheos is a camp for boys, which endeavors to offer additional formation in the journey towards authentic manhood. This task has not been approached lightly, as you will see from the collaborative efforts of the team who help make this possible.  This experience is for those who yearn to take on the adventures of life, with the heroic nature afforded them. Captivenia, camp for girls is intended to capture young feminine hearts and engage all who attend to experience and know Christ in a fun, medieval setting!  Our mission is based on the teachings of Pope John Paul II on the feminine genius and the authentic dignity each young woman has been given by God. The programs and activities are designed to encourage and support girls to discover and cherish God’s gift by choosing to live in a way that upholds her dignity.
