Canmore General Hospital is at the heart of our community, delivering critical healthcare services to the Bow Valley region. To continue providing the high standard of care that our community relies on, we urgently need to upgrade our endoscopy equipment. We are seeking your support to raise $440,000 to purchase the latest endoscopy technology—a crucial investment that will significantly enhance our ability to diagnose and treat life-threatening conditions, including cancer.

Endoscopy allows doctors to examine the inside of a patient’s body using a thin, flexible tube with a camera, essential for diagnosing conditions such as gastrointestinal diseases, ulcers, and cancers. Our current equipment, purchased in 2017, has become outdated as medical technology has advanced. The new endoscopy equipment offers superior optics and safer handling, increasing the chances of early detection and improving patient outcomes.
