The Cancer Research Society (CRS) is a nationwide, pan-Canadian, not-for-profit organization whose mission is to exclusively fund research into all types of cancer to prevent, detect, and treat this disease.

Since its inception in 1945, the CRS has been an undisputed leader in the field of cancer research funding by supporting some of the most promising research projects in Canada.

To date, thanks to the generosity of partners and donors across Canada, the CRS has distributed over $423 million in research grants and scholarships.
