With a percentage of vision loss of over 19%, one of the world's most populous countries has one of the highest rates of vision impairment and the greatest burden of blindness of any country.*

Vision loss is linked to socioeconomic disadvantage and the low vision community experiences high unemployment and underemployment rates. Our world was not built for the low vision community.

Canadians Sharing Locally and Globally is providing medical equipment, medicines, minerals and vitamins to support life-changing services by Registered Charities in India that allow many people with low vision to fully participate in society. This includes increasing access to vision loss therapies, vision-enhancing technologies, vision treatment, and much more.
