Canadians Sharing Locally and Globally Charity is supporting a morning breakfast program for underserved school children in the Vellore District of South India. The morning breakfast program is an initiative of Sri Narayani Schools. This breakfast has been designed by nutritionists and consists of a natural, multigrain nourishing morning porridge. This healthy porridge enriches the lives and studies of school children with its wholesome goodness. This initiative aims to ensure that every child starts their day with the vital nutrients they need to thrive academically and lead healthy lives. -This Special Porridge for Kids is thoughtfully created with their unique needs in mind. It contains a harmonious combination of ingredients best for kids.

-Vitamins and Minerals. Each ingredient is carefully selected to provide essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, ensuring that your little ones receive the nutrients they need for optimal health.

-Immunity Booster. The healthy porridge includes immune-boosting foods and herbs known for their protective properties.

-Energy Food. The porridge is enriched with nutrients that support bone health, cognitive function, and overall growth. It provides a nourishing boost for kid's growing bodies .

This initiative aims to feed all the children in both Sri Narayani Vidyashram and Sri Narayani Vidyalaya Primary and Secondary Schools, in all grades. We will be providing breakfasts to the children throughout the year.

The cost of the ingredients for all of the students is about CAD$ 2,050 monthly and per semester year CAD$22,600. That's only CAD $12 to sponsor a healthy breakfast for one student for 11 months. We're serving over 650,000 breakfasts and serving a great meal for over 2000 kids yearly.

*Donations to this campaign will be matched to an aggregate of $11,300 to provide $22,600 worth of breakfast ingredients to kids in 2025.
