About Canadian Ski Patrol-Patrouille canadienne de ski
Since 1941, the Canadian Ski Patrol has been an active national volunteer organization that provides safety education, first aid and rescue services to over 200 ski resorts and hundreds of recreational and sporting events across Canada each year. The CSP has more than 5,000 members certified in first aid and rescue services, who are actively involved year-round to promote safety and assist those in need. Our first aid course is certified by the federal government and is considered to be second to none.
We are a volunteer-driven not-for-profit charitable organization. Our rescue equipment, safety programs and future development rely heavily on donations, sponsorships, partnerships, individual donors, companies and other organizations. We have a cross-section of national programs currently in development which will allow us to continue to provide vital skills as well as certified education and training in outdoor emergency care. Funding is the key to bringing these programs to life.
