Overview

A gathering with National team coaches, players, alumni and supporters to raise funds for Canada's Women's U18, U20 and U23 programs.

The Canadian Women’s @beleafxv showed the rugby community, as well as many new fans across the world, that we are a country that plays with pride and passion. That we are still competitive on a world stage without a professional league or professional contracts. To keep this level of on-field performance we must also fund the next crop of national players and support the revival of the age-grade pathway.

JOIN US in connecting with people from all parts of the game through stories that highlight the greatness of our game, the growth it can create as people, players and passionate supporters, and the community it makes while raising funds for the future.

  • Special Guest speakers including past and current national team players from senior women & u20 teams;
  • Door prizes & silent auction;
  • Light appetizers & drinks will be served;
  • An opportunity to connect with old and new friends; and
  • interactive storytelling.
Who is welcome: Anyone and everyone that the sport of rugby or sport generally has impacted positively.

About This Charity

The Canadian Rugby Foundation was established in 2003 as a non-share capital corporation incorporated under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act and is a registered charity under the Income Tax Act (Canada) designated as a public foundation (registration number 869159186). The Foundation’s mandate is to encourage and build permanent endowed funds, student award funds and capital project funds the income or capital from which will be used to promote and support rugby activities, including but not limited to, players, clubs, coaches, officials, administrators, and rugby organizations – all to support the growth and development of rugby in Canada. Among its now 68 funds, the CRF has dedicated funds to support Rugby Canada’s age-grade and senior teams and programs such as the Monty Heald Senior Women’s Fund, the U20 (Men’s) Fund, the Hong Kong & Olympic 7s Fund, and the new Women’s Age-grade Rugby Fund.
