Our dear mom and grandmother, Barbara, passed away from Pulmonary Fibrosis earlier this year, having lived with the disease for over eight years.
A graceful fighter and inspiration up to the time of her passing, Mom was a huge advocate for the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (CPFF), the fantastic work it does, palliative and hospice care, and the people and volunteers underpinning that work. We want to continue to advocate in her place.
Last year the Clarke Walk for PF was held in Calgary and over 350 people participated.
Despite COVID-19, we transformed the event to national and virtual to collectively walk across Canada in the month of September - all 6800+ kms. Our personal family goal is to walk a minimum of 25 kms collectively, per week.
