With one in five Canadians expected to experience a mental health concern in their lifetime, chances are someone from your own circle of friends, family or co-workers have, or will, turn to CMHA Niagara for mental health and addiction services, programs, consultations or resources.

With a mission to strengthen mental wellness in our community, we believe that early access and intervention is imperative to supporting the resiliency and recovery of those experiencing mental health concerns. With the right supports, their lives can, and do, get better.

While we receive funding from several sources including government ministries, United Way and various grants, this base funding has remained stagnant for nearly a decade and has not kept pace with the increased demand for services and higher cost of living.

Your gift, and the belief in the work we do, makes a tremendous impact on the lives of those who turn to our agency for free mental health counselling, life training skills, transportation, housing and court support, as well as crisis services such as Safe Beds, Crisis Outreach & Support, our Mobile Crisis Rapid Response Team.
