On January 22, 2023, our team “I’d rather be in Antarctica!” will join the 8 Hour Ski Relay for Mental Health at Kawartha Nordic Ski Club. Each team member will try to complete as many laps of the course as they can!
We are thankful for our opportunities to experience such fun things as cross-country skiing and in turn receive the benefits of enjoying time being active outside. We recognize these opportunities as well as the things we take for granted, such as a home to live in. We are excited to ski in the relay and hope we can also inspire others to give what they can to support the well-being of people in our community.
Our goal is to raise $500 for the Canadian Mental Health Association- Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge Branch. Specifically, your donations will go towards supporting their efforts to house those in need in our region.
