The Colchester East Hants Branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association adapted quickly to a new way to provide services, changing from largely in-person to telephone and virtual support.
Everyone is experiencing increased anxiety and we are currently providing support groups and such events as "The Positivity Project".
Loneliness and isolation is detrimental to our mental health. Our Community, Housing and Youth Outreach Programs are being asked to support in ways we have not been before. We hope to provide food, supplies, connection, and whatever we can to people who need it.
Our community will be impacted in many ways by COVID-19. The anxiety and worry, changes in routine, and imposed isolation are detrimental to our health.
Our supports will be needed as never before and we need your help.
