Korina and l, through our club, Tennis Troupe, are raising awareness and funds for the CMHA's Blue Wave initiative, which is working with youth and young adults to create a future where it's ok to talk openly about mental health.
The name Blue Wave comes from thinking of a mental health or substance use problem as a 'blue wave' that can either overwhelm you or empower you to ride out.
The Blue Wave program is there for all youth—those struggling due to a mental health or substance use problem, and those having a hard time, feeling 'blue' or wanting to prevent problems from starting.
Any donation is welcome; as little as $5 goes a long way to help. (CMHA will email a charitable tax receipt for $20+ donations.) Every little bit helps.
