OPEN DOORS AT AL RASHID MOSQUE

For people experiencing homelessness, winter is a brutal challenge. The cold weather makes life on the street even more dangerous than usual; While many of us take cover from the cold weather in our homes, many of our fellow Edmontonians suffer a different fate and face an increase of danger and risk.

Al Rashid Mosque has activated its overnight space to accommodate community members who face homelessness. As part of the Winter Emergency Response with the City of Edmonton, Al Rashid is on the route and is, therefore, able to transport individuals to our Centre all night during the City's activation of Winter Emergency Response. 
You can support this initiative by making a donation. Donations will help pay for individuals facing homelessness and financial challenges for affordable housing.
