Festival and International Competition
Every year in October, the CIOC presents a CIOC Festival, during which, every three years isit presents its international competition, in which 16 candidates from around the world compete. It continues to celebrate Montreal's rich history, as cradle of the pipe organ in North America. The last edition of the competition were a celebrated success and crowned laureates Frédéric Champion (France, 2008), Christian Lane (United-States, 2011) and David Baskeyfield (UK, 2014).
