The Beit Midrash of Elon Moreh, located near the city of Shechem in the Shomron, was founded in 1980 with the stated goal of playing a significant role in Israel's national and spiritual revival.

Under the leadership of Rabbi Elyakim Levanon, the Beit Midrash trains Torah scholars in varied educational programs which instill devotion to Torah ideals, a dedication to Greater Israel and a sense of commitment to the entire people of Israel. 

The extensive Torah curriculum taught in Elon Moreh provides the students with firm values and illuminates the path for its graduates to follow. Students are driven to strive for excellence and they, in turn, act to exert influence on ever-widening circles in general society, thus leaving an indelible mark on all levels of the nation. The yeshiva is a member of the Igud Yeshivot Hesder.
