The Canadian Foundation for Ukrainian Studies (CFUS) is a federally registered charitable organization dedicated to the advancement of Ukrainian Studies by raising funds to support research, scholarly publications, development of resources and higher education, across Canada and worldwide.
Since its inception in 1975, CFUS has funded a variety of initiatives such as the Encyclopedia of Ukraine project, graduate fellowships, academic research, conferences and publication of scholarly works. The Foundation’s programs and grants have provided opportunities to students in financial need, encouraged graduate students to develop critical thinking and enabled professors to pursue their research while providing resources to their students.
