CFUW Saanich Peninsula is launching our 30-year anniversary celebration in 2025 and is inviting you, our community, to participate.

In our 30 years we have contributed $150,000 in scholarships for Camosun College, University of Victoria and annually for graduates of our four local high schools. In this year of celebration we hope to raise $9,000 through 30 donations of $300 each to augment our scholarship fund. This fund has no overhead and all donations go directly to benefit students in our community.
In addition to the support we provide for the education of girls and women, we advocate on social justice issues and improved conditions across society. In June 2024 we organized the C.A.R.E. Fair for Seniors, held at the Mary Winspear Centre which was attended by over 1,100 people. We achieved our goal to provide an event that was free of cost to both attendees and exhibitors so there would be no barriers to participate. The feedback we have received has been overwhelmingly positive for this effort which benefited so many seniors on the peninsula.
