Join us for a captivating evening with acclaimed Canadian authors Marina Endicott and Kerry Clare, hosted by CFUW Hamilton in collaboration with Epic Books and Penguin Random House Canada.

Details

Doors open at 6:30 with live music.  At 7:00 Jill Downie will lead a lively discussion about the new books,  The Observer by Marina Endicott and Asking for a Friend by Kerry Clare.

This will be followed by an author meet-and-greet where you will have a chance to buy signed copies of the books.

You will be supporting education through scholarships to students attending McMaster University and Mohawk College.  All proceeds go to CFUW Scholarship Fund.

Tickets are $15

Free parking and wheelchair access.

About This Charity

Every year since our inception in 1925, CFUW-Hamilton has offered scholarships and bursaries to student enrolled in post secondary institutions in our area. Our Scholarship Funds are sustained through fundraising efforts such as ticketed events, donations, bequests and memorials. 100% of funds raised is applied to our Scholarship Fund and tax receipts are issued for all donations. CFUW Hamilton has proudly awarded over $50.000 to deserving students in recent years. CFUW Hamilton promotes education, advocacy for women and girls and lifelong learning. Membership is open to all women who share this vision. We have monthly meeting with guest speakers who inform and inspire us. We enjoy a wide range of interest groups: there is something for everyone! We also engage in letter writing campaigns and advocacy with in our community and beyond. CFUW Hamilton
