The Canadian Automotive Museum (CAM) opened to the public in Oshawa, Ontario in 1963. The museum is an incorporated charitable, not-for-profit institution with a mission to share the Canadian automotive experience through the preservation, exhibition, and interpretation of Canadian vehicles and related reference materials.
The CAM maintains a collection of over 90 vehicles, including more than 20 that have been designated Canadian Cultural Property. Vehicles are exhibited in an 18,000 square foot museum building as well as loaned to other institutions and shows. In addition to vehicles, the museum maintains the Baecher Canadian Automotive Research Library. The CAM is open year-round and hosts fun and educational programs for all-ages.
