Overview

Join us as we celebrate the "Dean of Canadian Composers" and his music for voice and piano. The program will include well known pieces such as "The Tourney" and beloved folk song arrangements in addition to previously unpublished manuscripts.  

This concert is Co-presented with Syrinx Concerts and supported by the Jackman Foundation and the Ontario Arts Council

Details

Joining us for this very special concert are baritone Peter Barrett, soprano Martha Guth, mezzo soprano Allyson McHardy and pianist Helen Becqué with special guest Matthew Whitfield as Organist.

A pre-concert chat will be lead by Dean Burry to discuss the styles and evolution of Willan's song writing.
