Our objects/purpose are:
a. To promote and foster the esprit-de-corps of its members;
b. To provide a scholarship, for post secondary education to Members of CAFA, ARAC or other constituent associations; spouses, children, or grandchildren of an association member, (be the member living or deceased); a member in good standing of a Cadet Corps affiliated with CAFA or ARAC; or any Army Cadet who is a qualified Canadian Forces Parachutist;
c. Provide funding to support the development, display and maintenance of the Canadian Airborne Forces Collection at the Garrison Petawawa Museum;
d. Provide funding to support the development, restoration and maintenance of Canadian Airborne Forces monuments and memorials with a view to commemorating the sites and educating the public about them;
e. Provide funding to airborne affiliated cadet corps to support cadet training to youth;
f. Provide funding to sponsoring the participation of serving members and cadets on battlefield tours of operations conducted by Canadian Airborne Forces;
g. Publish annually for distribution to Canadian Armed Forces parachute elements a magazine that highlights current Canadian Armed Forces parachute activities, reviews developing parachuting trends and provides a historical perspective;
h. To promote the efficiency of the Canadian Armed Forces:
1. By providing funding to support publications / artwork / documentaries on Canadian Airborne Forces history.
dj2. By providing funding to public events that commemorate the history and heritage of the Canadian Airborne Forces.
i. To receive and maintain a fund or funds and to apply all or part of the principal and income therefrom, from time to time, to qualified donees as defined in subsection 149.1(1) of the Income Tax Act (Canada).
