Every language is a window into the culture of those who speak it, into their unique ways of communicating ideas and seeing the world. Language development brings a greater understanding of our world, enabling us to improve communication, and assist in literacy efforts.

Many minority language communities are marginalized because of their cultural background, or because their heart language is not the language of those who hold power. They lack access to education and become trapped in a cycle of poverty and discrimination.

Our graduates work in over 40 countries, serving alongside teachers, health care providers, church leaders, other local leaders, and aid organizations. Their primary cause is Bible translation but, by providing access to services in the heart language of such people groups, they also empower the community and help stem the tide of poverty.
