Walk, Run or Bike

in support of Camp Kirk and our neurodiverse campers.

April is Neurodiversity Acceptance Month and by taking part in Camp Kirk’s 5K Your Way, you’ll be helping raise funds and awareness of Camp Kirk and our neurodiverse campers. All Funds raised will help provide year-round weekend and overnight camp programs for kids with ADHD, autism, and learning disabilities.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 which will get 10 kids to Camp Kirk in 2022!

Follow the links above to join/create a team, sign up as an individual or donate to a participant. Note there is a small registration fee of $5 for every participant. If you’d like to donate to Camp Kirk directly, you can make a donation at the bottom of this page.

What: A virtual walk, run, or bike ride for Camp Kirk

When: April 24th between noon and 6pm.

Where: Choose your own route. The Camp Kirk Team will be sharing some of our favorite hiking, running and cycling trails for inspiration.

How Far: 5K, but if that isn’t a big enough challenge and you want to go further you can choose a route that is 10K, 20K or more.

Why: To raise funds and awareness for Camp Kirk and the neurodiverse kids and youth we serve.

GET STARTED:

Step 1. Decide if you are going to run, walk or ride and how far you are going to go on April 24th

Step 2. Sign-up above as an individual, or Create/Join a Team with your friends. After you sign up we'll send you a fundraising guide to provide some tips & tricks on fundraising for Camp Kirk.

Step 3. Fundraise – Tell your friends, family, and your coworkers about your challenge and ask for their support. Every dollar you raise goes directly to Camp Kirk!

Step 4. Capture photos of your Run, Walk or Bike and share them with our community. You can do this by using the event hashtag #CK5K and tagging @Camp_Kirk on Instagram or by sharing them with us on Facebook.

Step 5. Celebrate! Join us on Zoom for the closing ceremonies on April 24th. And on the 25th don't forget to thank your supporters: let them know what you accomplished (Walked/Ran a 5K +, cycled 15K!), and how much you raised!
