The Campbell River Salmon Foundation is a registered charity that provides funding for salmon enhancement projects in the Campbell River area from the Oyster River north to the Salmon River Estuary, on Vancouver Island on the West Coast of Canada. Our volunteer board of directors works to connect local salmon enhancement projects with funding - we drive the fundraising and community connections, then donate to those organizations that are focussed on researching and protecting salmon habitats.  With so many local individuals, businesses, and not-for-profit organizations relying on healthy salmon populations, plus increased demands and stresses on our natural ecosystems, salmon need our help!  Our annual fundraiser, held each March (pre-pandemic) was a community celebration that raised approximately $100 000 each year, that we then poured in to local streamkeeper, conservation, education, and enhancement organizations.  As we find new ways to connect with all the people who love salmon (even though we can't host our annual fundraiser), we are still funding projects large and small in our region.  Thank you for your interest and support of the Campbell River Salmon Foundation!
