Camp Misquah is a non-profit charitable organization providing an awesome residential summer camping experience to approximately 300 children and adults with developmental disabilities on a yearly basis. We have served the Ottawa-Carleton region for over 50 summers of safe and enjoyable camping seasons. It also provides amazing summer jobs for 30-40 students who have an experience that helps them define their lives.  The majority of our clients come to us with a variety of developmental disabilities including Down syndrome, Autism and Cerebral Palsy. The Camp Misquah program is operated by a 100% volunteer board of directors made up of parents, professionals and former staff of the camp. The camp is located on Lac Bitobi near Gracefield, Quebec. The program at Camp Misquah allows individuals with developmental disabilities to experience a variety of recreational activities and develop an awareness and appreciation of the outdoors. Program activities include canoeing, pedal-boating, swimming, hiking, arts and crafts, dances, talent shows and campfires.
