Camp Aftermath's approach seeks to fill the gap in the long-term management of PTSD/OSI or other mental health issues. This is accomplished through our one year, three-phase program that is centered on volunteerism. Camp Aftermath facilitates and encourages all participants to enroll in local charities upon the completion of Phase 2 to maintain their sense of purpose which comes with with helping those less fortunate. We do not aim to bring a window of solace for those who are living with PTSD/OSI or other mental health issues, but rather a lifestyle change which not only benefits the participant but the community as well.
