About This Charity

The Caledon Seniors Centre is a recreation centre for adults 55+ to be social, meet new friends, avoid isolation, stay active, learn new skills and have fun! The Caledon Seniors Centre has been operating for 30 years as a not-for-profit, charitable organization that relies on government grants and fundraising initiatives to remain operational. Our membership continues to increase annually, and our main Centre has undergone a major expansion, doubling the space of our original facility. The Centre also operates Satellite Programs in Alton, Caledon East, Caledon Village, Inglewood, Southfields and Valleywood, offering expanded programs to meet the needs of our growing senior population throughout Caledon. The operating budget for our Centre has increased while grant funding is not keeping pace with our growth thus resulting in a need for us to increase our fundraising efforts to make up the shortfall and keep our programs operating and affordable for our community seniors.
