Overview
Explore Bach’s music through the lens of transcription, which highlights how flexible and transportable it can be! This program presents music of Bach, performed by a baroque string trio, including a Trio Sonata originally written for organ, a selection of his famous fugues arranged by Mozart with his own newly composed adagios to precede them, and an intimate transcription of the keyboard monument: the Goldberg Variations.
