Founded in 2006, BullyingCanada is a free bilingual donor-funded 24/7/365 national support service that counsels and assists bullied children and youth until we find a way to bring an end to their being bullied, a process that typically takes between 2 weeks to a year. 

Unlike any other national charity, our Lifeline: Bullied Youth Support Network uses highly trained volunteer Support Responders and professional counsellors who make one-to-one connections with kids by phone, texting and email. They resolve bullying situations by working with bullied youths’ parents, teachers, principals, guidance counsellors and coaches, and by getting help from local police if a kid’s life is being threatened.

We also provide free professional counselling to help kids who admit they are considering suicide to end their pain, and to help them heal from the trauma of being bullied.

The need for our Lifeline: Bullied Youth Support Network has never been greater. In 2023, we handled a record 2,856,456 requests for help and our website, BullyingCanada.ca – available in 104 languages – was visited more than 500 million times.

We’ve also delivered 4,500 Empowering Youth Workshops across Canada on bullying prevention.
