COBS Bread + DNV Fire Fundraiser Raising funds for Buddy Check For Jesse Society

COBS Bread (Parkgate Village) and the District of North Vancouver Firefighters Charitable Society have teamed up again this year for another stellar fundraiser, with all proceeds going to Buddy Check for Jesse.

GREAT NEWS - COBS Bread will MATCH donations up to $10,000!

COBS Bread is all about giving back to local communities, helping people in need and continuously supporting organizations making a difference in their communities. We have multiple ways of giving back to our communities, including our Doughraiser Program with local schools, our End of Day Giving Program, in which we donate all of our leftover bread to local charities at the end of the day, and multiple product donations to local events.

COBS Parkgate Village has several sales staff in high school where they received a Buddy Check talk from their coaches; the message inspired many of our team who appreciated what BCFJ does for youth in the community. To help “pay it forward,” COBS bread has created this fundraiser to help more students and athletes receive the important Buddy Check message.

The District of North Vancouver Firefighters Charitable Society is pleased to partner again with Cobs Bread and Buddy Check for Jesse. We have been working with Cobs Parkgate since 2017 to raise money for our charitable initiatives. Last year all the money raised went to Buddy check for Jesse, a youth mental health organization that taught kids the importance of good mental health through sports.

Since our partnership with BCFJ, we have connected with over 2500 youth across the North Shore. Our packages went out to high school and regional sports teams to help coaches remove the stigma around mental health and learn how to support their players in times of need.
