About BRIDGES FOR WOMEN SOCIETY

Bridges is a feminist, strength-based, gutsy, innovative, trauma-informed community agency. Our healing, education, and employment programs inspire women, nonbinary, Two-Spirit, and gender-diverse people who identify with the women’s community harmed by trauma, violence, abuse, or neglect overcome barriers to employment, education, self-esteem, and healthy relationships. Program participants learn how to break the cycle of abuse and transition to personal and financial independence.

By drawing on its extensive knowledge of the impacts of trauma on employability, Bridges provides expertise and resources to a diverse range of individuals, organizations, and allies to break the cycles of violence, poverty, and isolation faced by the people we serve.
